Skype releases version 2.6, sneaks in more features after beta

Last month, Skype released a beta version of Skype for Mac 2.6 with lots of new features, including Mac-only call transfer and support for group chats. Given the extensive list of features and fixes in the beta, I figured they’d test it for a bit and ship a final version that was pretty much identical to the beta version.

I like the sound (pun intended) of the new features — automatic update, improved echo cancellation. Sounds like a “must download” for current Skype users.
